Pastor Jim Kiefer Jr., was born and raised in Perryville, MO as a Catholic. After graduating from Perryville High School, he went to college in Paducah, KY. There he met and married his wife Tammy. He entered the Navy in 1990, and was sent to Naples, Italy, where he met an American missionary who led him to Christ. Upon finishing his time in the Navy, he went to Fairfax, VA to attend Bible college at Fairfax Baptist Temple. In 2000, he moved back to his hometown to start Heartland Baptist Church. He and his family enjoy serving the people of our church, and love serving the Lord.
